Rupantaran Knowledge Hub (RKH) is a registered research, training and consultancy company, with registered office at Ratnanagar, Chitawan Nepal, and liaison office at Koshi Province (Biratnagar), Madhesh Province (Janakpurdham) and Gandaki Province (Beni Bazaar). It was registered in the Office of Company Registrar with registration number 324175. It is registered in the Office of Inland Revenue (IRO) Chitawan with number 324175.

It desires to develop capable and competitive human resources for social transformation. In the changed context, it provides expert support to the local governments for institutional capacity development, capacity development of the elected representatives and staffs, planning, change assessment and documentation; and professional level Training of Trainers (ToT) on social mobilization, Rights-Based Approach (RBA), Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), professional writing, team building etc.

Objectives: Major objective of RKH is to capacitate individuals and institutions for supporting social transformation through training, research, consultancy, thematic writing, planning, project evaluation, professional writing, policy formulation and institutional enhancement. It does have the following specific objectives:

1. To support for strengthening local government through orientation and training for elected representatives, provide consultancy service for planning and preparation of master plan and periodic plan, preparation of acts and policies for provincial and local government, and project evaluation;
2. To support for knowledge management through research, and report preparation on various technical and non-technical subjects and themes;
3. To support for development of capable and competent human resources in local level through short term, mid-term and long term technical and non-technical training, workshop, coaching and mentoring;
4. To support for knowledge documentation and change documentation through case study writing, thematic writing, video documentary preparation, impact assessment and writing of the projects, action research and reporting, preparation of project proposal and professional report writing;
5. To contribute for professional development of communication sector through production and broadcasting radio and television program, operation of print and online mass communication media, thematic books writing and publication, and production and dissemination of other communication products;
6. To facilitate and implement short-term and long-term projects in partnership with government, national and international agencies and private sector on local government strengthening, research, capacity enhancement, rights-based development,
7. To provide consultancy services for human resource selection for organizations and projects, capacity enhancement of the working human resources, support in partner selection, and prepare strategic and detail implementation plan of the projects.
